My professional background primarily revolves around operations, corporate governance, and early-stage investments. I recently moved to New Zealand after spending the past 3,5 years in the US where served as the representative of the Estonian Investment Agency. Based in San Francisco, my mission was to act as the ambassador for Estonia's digital society, its attractive business environment, its dynamic startup and investment landscape. I was organising business delegation visits, handling project management, supporting strategic collaborations and helping US companies navigate the Estonian business landscape both for international (startup) companies looking for a country for incorporation to manage the EU markets, but also corporates expanding their business operations via presence in Estonia.Throughout my career, I have been deeply engaged in our startup ecosystem, including holding the position of Chief Operating Officer at Startup Wise Guys, Europe's largest accelerator program. I was also driving the development and launch of the Estonian startup visa program.I'm eager to start building a professional network and engaging with the local NZ investment and tech ecosystem to better understand where my experience and background best align with local needs and where I can have a tangible positive impact.
