Facilitating adult inpatient groups, as well as the adolescent inpatient and outpatient groups associated with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Focus of groups includes strengths, expressive writing and artistic expression. Co-leading a 10-week body image group. Consulting on an interdisciplinary team.

This project examined single and serial homicides specifically involving prostitute victims for the purpose of understanding the commonalities between crimes concerning this vulnerable group of victims. Tasks included online collection of articles regarding prostitute homicide, coding, cleaning and organizing of data, performing statistical analyses, including basic descriptive statistics using SPSS and Excel as well as Multidimensional Scaling Analyses, using specialized software (HUDAP).

Provided assistance in co-leading psychotherapy and psychoeducational groups for Intensive Outpatient Program and Outpatient Program Clinic to individuals suffering from a wide range of addictive behaviors and comorbid psychological conditions. Conducted extensive biopsychosocial intake evaluations, as needed, for new and returning clients seeking to enter into treatment at AINY. Responsibilities included writing clinical progress notes, treatment plans, and intake reports. Part of a multidisciplinary team providing state of the art evidence-based treatment.

Project: Offender Characteristics and Patterns of Prostitute and Non-Prostitute VictimsDesigned a research project that analyzed background characteristics of offenders who target exclusively prostitutes compared to the offenders who target both prostitutes and non-prostitutes (mixed) as a part of the same series. Tasks included coding, cleaning and organizing data, and performing statistical analyses, including basic descriptive statistics using SPSS and Excel, as well as Multidimensional Scaling Analyses, using specialized software (HUDAP). Presented poster at Master’s Student Research Group Conference.

Received training in administering neuropsychological assessments to pediatric outpatient clients with neurological and psychiatric conditions (e.g., traumatic brain injury and oppositional defiant disorder) for use in Individual Education Plans. Assessments included: Wechsler Abbreviated Scale of Intelligence – Fourth Edition (WAIS-IV), Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC), Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT), Conners’ Continuous Performance Test, Second Edition (CPT-II), California Verbal Learning Test- Children’s Version (CVLT-C), Behavior Assessment System for Children Second Edition (BASC-2), Delis-Kaplan Executive Function System (DKEFS), Reynolds Intellectual Assessment Scales (RIAS), Wide Range Assessment of Memory and Learning Second Edition (WRAML2), and Wisconsin Card Sorting Test (WCST).
