I worked with a team of ten people to run the rock climbing wall, archery range, high ropes course, and zipline for Camp Timber-lee. For eleven weeks, I helped kids from 2nd grade to 12th grade climb safely, enjoy the outdoors, and grow their relationship with God. I lived on-site for the entire summer, and I gained valuable experience not only with climbing-related activities, but also with teamwork, long hours, working with children, keeping a positive attitude, and pushing past fatigue. At the end of the summer, I received a perfect end-of-summer review, with categories such as teamwork, teachability, and professionalism.

I was promoted to head lifeguard at Life Time Fitness after working there for two years and I turned 18. As head guard, I was responsible for the entire indoor and outdoor pooldeck, organizing the lifeguards on shift, assiting members and answering their questions, keeping the facilities clean, filling out daily paperwork, and taking responsibility of any emergencies that occurred.

In April of 2018, I was chosen as Aquatics MVP of the month for working many of my coworkers' shifts. As a swim instructor, I taught children ages 3 months to 12 years how to do four competitive swim strokes using a variety of tactics and tricks. From these two positions, I gained my first work experience, learnt to deal with difficult members, worked extensively with children, and worked as part of a large team of around forty lifeguards.
