Sun House Studio is a thoughtfully designed, natural light studio, co-working office and multi-purpose creative space for hire located in Burleigh Heads, Queensland.As the a co-founder of award-winning business The Village Markets I am passionate about facilitating community, connection and collaboration. I also offer an in-house creative service in interior styling and sourcing, photoshoot and event production and love to connect people and brands.

Over the past 16 years I have worked on fashion and lifestyle styling projects for various clients and projects including The Village Markets event campaigns, Village Goods merchandise, Katrina Ellis book The Alchemy of Beauty, YardArt as well as interior projects Palmy Courtyard House and Sun House Studio.

The Village Markets are an iconic boutique market and community for creative entrepreneurs launching at Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast in 2008 and now popping up at various locations on the Gold Coast.The award winning event, known as TVM, showcases a carefully curated line-up of boutique market stalls in fashion, vintage, art and design, street food stalls, pre-loved designer and vintage Rack Sales and live music.The thriving event has an online community of over 125K and has provided a launch platform for thousands of creative businesses including peony swimwear, Kivari, Cleopatra's Bling, Zulu and Zephyr as well and musicians, Ziggy Alberts and Tones & I.TVM has featured on Channel Seven’s The Great South East as well in publications such as Virgin's Voyeur, Jetstar, Scoot, Qantas, Expedia.com.au and many more.As founders, Marissa and Sarah have also been nominated for Gold Coast Young Entrepreneur of the Year and were Finalists in Cosmopolitan Magazines Women of the Year Awards in 2017. In 2018 Marissa and Sarah were awarded the Outstanding Entrepreneurial Alumnus Award by Griffith University Business School and in 2018 won Destination Gold Coast's Industry Storyteller of the Year.Marissa and Sarah have held three TVM Talks events, creative networking events with insight from a panel of successful business owners from the Gold Coast and broader community. As well as launching their first eBook How to launch your Startup, a resource filled with insights they wished they would have known when starting their business journey.In 2020, the pair launched Virtual Village, an online directory for creative small businesses across Australia and a range of popular merchandise under the brand Village Goods.
