Responsible for developing and executing strategic communications activities to advance the coalition’s policy goals and elevate its brand among priority audiences, including US and multilateral policymakers. Core responsibilities include developing communications products (facts sheets, infographics, messaging, blog and web content, reports, videos, presentations, etc.); managing social media and traditional media outreach; organizing briefings and events; and managing our coalition's monitoring, evaluation, and learning processes and donor reporting. Also responsible for managing contracts with external communications vendors, liaising with counterparts at member and partner organizations on joint engagement opportunities, and directly managing team’s program assistant.Key contributions:-Led development of new GHTC brand identity and website. In the first year after launch, there was a 46% and 63% increase in monthly website page views and sessions, respectively, and a more than 300% increase in monthly email subscribers.-Created and manage annual Innovating for Impact Awards, which is attended by more than a hundred high-level US government officials and senior representatives from the global health sectors.-Wrote reports, op-eds, and other press materials that have generated media coverage in publications including CNN, Washington Post, New York Times, The Hill, Devex, Axios, Science, Financial Times, and more.-Organized numerous events, on Capitol Hill and at global convenings like UNGA and WHA, covering a range styles including panel discussions, roundtables, webinars, interactive game nights, etc.-Exponentially grew GHTC’s social media presence and impact. In first two years under my lead, GHTC saw a more than 80% increase in monthly blog views, 370% and 1100% increase in Facebook followers and engagement, respectively, and a 30% and 90% increase in Twitter followers and impressions, respectively.

As part of a team of four people and in less than six months, conceived of and established nonprofit foundation that organizes an annual two-day event in Washington, DC, which attracts over 400 attendees and has involved notable participants including President Joe Biden, Former Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole, and Nobel Prize laureates Aung San Suu Kyi and Elie Wiesel.Key contributions:-Managed logistics for two-day conference, including coordination with venue staff, vendors, hundreds of attendees, media, and dignitaries such as ambassadors and US administration officials.-Created and managed organization’s website, social media, email marketing, and press outreach.-Developed brochures and wrote fundraising communications instrumental in raising over $600,000 in two years.-Wrote scripts for videos featured at event that have received tens of thousands of online views.

Provided strategic communications and policy guidance to clients. Supported client accounts by developing communications materials; conducting research and tracking policies; organizing Capitol Hill briefings and other events; managing grassroots initiatives; and conducting media outreach. Developed company website, managed company’s email marketing, contact management, and social media platforms, and assisted in new business development and client proposals.
