As a member of the North American Bridge project team with more responsibilities than previous Key User Role. Working closely with the business as well as the IPO resources assigned to the project to close gaps from the current state in legacy systems to the future state in SAP was an essential part of this role. This was accomplished by continuing to educate end users on standard reports available within SAP and the Business Warehouse, as well as developing new ones in the form of new reports, queries, and transaction codes. In order to sustain an expected level of success and facilitate continuous improvement, collaboration with the Schneider Performance System (SPS) organization has resulted in a large scale project to marry the 40 principles on which the SPS is based with capabilities and functionality that is found within SAP. Some key deliverables of this role were:• all responsibilities of Key User role below• creating and managing change requests for new reports development• creating new queries and reports using ABAP code within SAP• data analysis on usage of reports to guide long term NAM reporting strategy• leading special projects with the SPS organization to drive continuous improvement in SAP plants

A member of the North American Bridge project team with the objective of implementing the ERP system of SAP into all of Schneider’s manufacturing facilities and distribution centers within North America. Responsibilities were to ensure that all business needs were met from a business reporting, KPI, and data perspective. This was accomplished by educating end users on standard reports available within SAP and the Business Warehouse. Some key deliverables of this role include:• performing data and gap analysis on current and future state of business reporting• understanding the needs of the business and effectively communicating them back to technical/IPO resources• developing and presenting training material to key and end users• managing user access and role assignments within SAP

Primary responsibilities included monitoring and reporting quality metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Along with monitoring and reporting these metrics comes development and implementation of various process improvement initiatives and projects to drive metrics towards their respective goals. Developed a new defects reporting system that was used by switchboard manufacturing, PZ4/LVDO manufacturing, and Order Engineering as well as a ‘Quality Defects Board Posting’ system where visual examples are made available to shop floor employees. Six Sigma Green Belt project completed to improve internal fabrication process efficiency. Other responsibilities of this role: • investigating and closing ETQ’s (Essential to Quality) that were assigned to our facility • utilizing the 8D and 5 Why methodology to determine root cause• conducting process and product audits• participating in various productivity projects• completing Six Sigma Green Belt certification and project• developing and conducting training material to be presented to manufacturing associates• performing data analysis using traditional statistical tools in Minitab to drive quality process improvements

Responsible for 24 direct reports that were hourly manufacturing associates. Daily tasks performed included: releasing and prioritizing work orders, processing non-conforming material and scrap, calculating daily, weekly, and monthly run rates, and entering time and attendance. A StarPoints program was inherited and further developed which allows shop floor employees to take on leadership roles while promoting a self-guided workforce. Highlights of the StarPoints program include:• creating an automated program to generate a weekly rotation schedule for different work cells within the group• developing KPI’s and metrics for StarPoints to track and measure themselves autonomously• creating standard work instructions for all StarPoints roles and tasks• publishing an hourly production schedule that utilizes visual flags and indicators• implementing 2 additional StarPoints roles – total of 5 roles

Inventory Analyst - 1st Rotation, Florence, KY Working with the supply chain and logistics organization led to a reduction in the US core inventory goal as well as significant cost savings through detailed data analysis and project initiatives. Projects summary:• disposing of over $334K in excess inventory within various North American manufacturing facilities and distribution centers• creating reports and scoreboards to monitor distribution center closures in Canada• removing and updating freeze and type codes that could potentially reduce the overall inventory goal in North America by over $2.5M• developing a methodology for reporting inventory shortages on a global level• balancing over $800K of inventory between distribution centersTransportation Analyst - 2nd Rotation, Florence, KYWorked with members of the transportation and logistics group on projects that resulted in significant savings or increased productivity within the organization. These projects included:• conducting cost analysis of LTL vs. UPS shipping pricing• identifying and eliminating a percentage of monthly UPS accessorial charges• reviewing products for more cost efficient production locations• creating a program that will generate quotes for UPS and LTL charges automatically using Visual BasicSystems Analyst - 3rd Rotation, Huntington, INPrimary responsibilities were related to functions within SAP. One of these responsibilities was error management – detailed data analysis led to root causes and development of resolutions for the various YMFC errors that were generated due to inventory discrepancies. Other functions included:• creating and maintaining kanban control cycles• reviewing/updating material masters• reviewing/updating production versions of various materials used within the facility • developing a new plant process for inventory cycle counts within SAP • participating in various Lean initiatives
