In two settings, Lab-Based Exercise Physiology and Introduction to Anatomy facilitated learning in laboratory experiences including using BodPod, DEXA, pulmonary testing, and maximal exertion testing. Aided a network of instructors with developing lesson plans and evaluating students’ overall performance.

Worked closely with doctoral students and tenured professors while maintaining the ability to work independently to research and collect data through methods such as mitochondrial isolations, implementing protocols, and tissue and organ collection on animal subjects. Met regularly with staff and students to maintain ongoing communication with project progress and performance.

Completed reception duties like insurance authorization, scheduling patients and completing follow-up calls while also developing team-wide strategies to ensure effectiveness. Worked closely with physical therapists to develop and administer treatment plans, and accurately document patient case(s) with updates in the electronic system. Compliantly followed all HIPAA rules and regulations regarding patient confidentiality.

Worked closely for one year with athletes and athletic trainers a part of the football, cross-country, and track teams.
