Certified by Canadian Red Cross through the Red Cross Babysitting Course. Trained in skills such as emergency CPR and first aid on infants and youth, as well as prevention of injury. Also taught skills such as conflict mediation/resolution. I was responsible for general cleaning/hygeine as well as cooking for the children in my care. I was also trained to spot signs of abuse or neglect and what to do in the event of a child in need.
