Board members work collaboratively to ensure NYAAF can fulfill its mission and volunteer to manage our client intake-hotline process. As Data Coordinator, I managed NYAAF's client database and produced reports for our stakeholders.

I assisted in program evaluation activities including quality assurance site visits and patient referral survey analysis for this multi-site reproductive health access project. I created a coding tool to rank participating sites' adoption of the program services including expanded access to contraception, specifically long acting reversible contraceptives. This internship was through the Health Research Training Program and the Bureau of Maternal, Infant and Reproductive Health.

I coded participant questionnaires for the Finding Genes for Fibroids Sister Study (http://www.fibroids.net) as well as completed benchwork including preparing DNA blood samples for genetic sequencing, Fluorescence in situ Hybridization screening for chromosomal deletions on chromosome 7, and coding fibroid tissue microarrays for the presence of cyclin D1 protein in cell nuclei.
