Provide coaching to increase capacity in program development and implementation.o Develop and implemented trainings on organizational culture, behavior management and relationship building principles, as well as Bible studies on immigration and the Bible. o Completed a redesign of organization’s onboarding process to encompass organizational policies, procedures, and job responsibilities as well as the history of the organization, cultural context of the neighborhood, theological basis for our core values and method of ministry in a 6–12-month timeline. Program Development, Evaluation, and Oversight:Oversee annual program framework design and evaluation. Develop systems to increase data tracking efficiency, quality, and accountability. Act as primary point of contact for external program partners.o Restructured the organization’s program framework model to make the goals and objectives of each program more streamlined to facilitate measuring and tracking of program outputs and outcomes. o Established an organization wide partnership with the Alexandria City Public School district to facilitate information and resource sharing between the Casa and the school district. Strategic Direction Development and Operations Management: Collaborate with executive director to develop the organization’s five-year strategic direction. Oversee community center operations and maintenance. Oversee policies and procedures for workflow. o Facilitated vision casting sessions with staff/ community members for input on the organization’s work and future strategic direction.o Led redesign of org's Sharepoint sites to streamline workflow across teams. Created standard operating procedures for usage of all Microsoft tools to ensure cohesive usage across all staff.

Began as the Elementary Programs Director in 2016. Promoted in July 2018 to oversee all youth programming (1st-8th grade). Oversight and leadership for elementary and middle school programs portfolio for students of Central American descent. Program Management and Development:Led short/ long term program development, prioritizing academic, social emotional, and spiritual development for students. Created program budgets, program frameworks, and tracked quantitative and qualitative data to measure the impact.o Maintained retention rate of 90% or higher for returning students year to year in programs.o Developed and led the first 8 weeklong summer tutoring program for at risk students. o Developed a system for tracking and comparing student academic data from year to year.Personnel Management:Responsible for the recruitment, retention, management, and oversight of assistant program staff and program volunteers.o Hired/ managed 8 assistant program staff over 4 years. All program staff were young people from Chirilagua, local leaders seeking to give back to their community. Created and implemented a training schedule for staff in classroom management techniques, as well as how to foster a collaborative, honoring culture among students and volunteers Supported them in their professional development and academic progress for those attending community college. .Relationship Management:Partner liaison for external program stakeholders (volunteer partners, nonprofit partners, local schools). Served as the key point of contact for families with children enrolled in youth programs.o Initiated partnerships with 3 new organizations to bring new parkour movement, writing, and arts programming to 40 enrolled elementary school students.o Guided and supported parents in advocating for their children with special needs, acted as a bridge to connect them to specialized resources offered by the school district.

Guatemala

Served with the Peace Corps in Guatemala as a Maternal and Child Healthcare volunteer. Received training on health topics for mothers during pregnancy and children under 2 years of age, family planning, health behavior change, and project monitoring, reporting, and evaluation techniques. Also received training on the importance of gender in development projects, essential actions and health practices during the 1,000 day window, tools for house visits and for working with community based health groups, and the establishment of a capacity building training program for health center staff. Lived in the municipality of San Cristobal, Totonicapán and completed a community health diagnostic by working with both health center and health post staff.

Mexico City Area, Mexico

8 week program learning about urban poverty in Mexico City. Partnered with non- profit Conexión Mosaico to learn about ministry among the urban poor. Participated in organization’s week long staff training, prepared for 3 weeks of summer camp for local youth. Lived with families in the community during the summer and developed understanding of the importance of holistic ministry and social justice.

Western China

Five week cultural exchange program in Western China working with both Han Chinese and a Turkic Muslim minority group. Chinese students learned English and about American culture while American students learned both language and cultural traditions of the Turkic Muslim group. American students worked to engage both the Han Chinese and the Muslim students in cross cultural experiences to increase cross ethnic understanding.
