As a heath care educator, provide high quality instruction to students to prepare working in an acute care setting. Currently a Family Nurse Practitioner at Grand Canyon University. I will be graduating with a masters in family nurse practitioner on 02/26/2020. Soon I will apply to take the national board certification for a certified nurse practitioner license. Once this is accomplished, I will be applying for multiple family nurse practitioner jobs in New Mexico.

As a registered nurse, specialized in emergency care, progressive care, and oncology. My qualities and skills are vast including assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in multiple areas of expertise. Administed chemotherapy, monitored for sepsis, provided emotional and spiritual support, In addition, particpated in shared governance meetings and collaborated with many interdisplicanary team members to individualize care plans, discharges, and patient/family teaching. Instituted hospital protocols with declining patient status. Treated chronic illnesses, exacerbation of illnesses, trauma injuries, ETOH withdrawal, allergic reactions, cancer of all types, and acute care illnesses. Specialize in telemetry care with higher acuity patient care needs. Participated in evidence-based study on insulin and clinical research studies.
