Responsible for establishing and implementing the Automation portfolio for Adaptive. Worked with executive leadership across Adaptive, to oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives and provide technological expertise for the group to successfully design, develop, deliver, and support laboratory technology and automation to enable Adaptive’s expanding portfolio of products and processes. Lead team transition into 2 focus areas, and hired on additional staff to support project and validation activities.

Represented our team for cross-functional projects utilizing liquid handling robots, and clarified priorities and project deliverables. Worked with executive leadership on future Automation portfolio and strategy.

As the TPM running Product Care (Lifecycle) programs for all portions of the Cell Analysis portfolio, I managed the Engineering Change Control process and cross-functional product support teams and activities. These programs consisted of hardware and software products that are fully integrated customer platforms. I managed 3 rebranding projects affecting product hardware, software, and documentation. I have adapted Agile software tools to run hardware programs, utilized Excel spreadsheets and PowerBI for reporting, and implemented Visual Management across all programs to provide updates against the business priorities. I enabled team members to have clear direction and prioritization on their tasks, and often participated in design review, testing, and verification activities.

Service Operations Leader for GE's Cell Analysis Microscopy and HCA products. Led projects for introducing new service procedures and standards. Provided technical support to field engineers on GE Cell Analysis portfolio. Managed and remotely solved customer issue tickets, as well a key consultant for Customer Service, Sales, etc. Provided training on servicing the instrumentation manufactured by GE Healthcare's Issaquah Site. Managed the Training Program and technical competency of 20+ field engineers, including defining their path to becoming Tier III engineers, and training other trainers (TTT). Monitored inventory levels and assisted with data cleanup, and physical returns to reduce inventory. Collaborated with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve product quality and documentation issues. Participated in product design and care meetings. Reported quality issues and customer concerns and acted as the liaison between customers and Manufacturing/R&D for product needs.

Provided support to field engineers on the DeltaVision Microscope System. Managed and remotely solved customer issue tickets, as well as staffed the Remote Online Center for customers to call in for support. Provided training on servicing the instrumentation manufactured by GE Healthcare's Issaquah Site. Collaborated with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve product quality and documentation issues. Led projects for introducing new service procedures and standards.

I installed and serviced advanced fluorescence microscopy systems at end-user's sites. Installations required world-wide travel, assembly, alignment and calibration. I worked on multi-functional, multicultural teams and with customers around the globe. My job required intense critical-thinking and problem solving skills, and I was often faced with new challenges never encountered before. Position has also gave me experience with new product introduction/rollouts, software verification, and documentation review.

Performed installations and training for advanced fluorescence microscopy systems both nationally and internationally. Attended microscopy courses as vendor support. Traveled to trade shows. Provided customer support to applications based questions via phone, email, and occasional site visits. Worked with software engineers to do novel product testing. Wrote procedure documentation for customers, service engineers, and distributors to follow.
