Current• Coordinate, plan, deliver, and update curriculum-based programming for K-8 students, Girl Guides and Scouts, Summer Day Camps, and the public at Terra Cotta CA.• Track participant statistics for education programs and provide statistical analysis of programs when required.• Manage a variety of environmental risks and hazards each day (i.e., inclement weather, insects, etc.) and train staff on how to deal with hazards when encountered.• Maintain professionalism in communicating with the public, visiting schools, coworkers, and others.• Create individualized programs and diversify content to accommodate participants of all ages and abilities.• Hire, train, and supervise Education Instructors to interpret stations at the Island Lake Maple Syrup Festival.• Assist with hiring, training, and supervising Education Instructors to deliver education programs year-round.• Maintain, purchase, and repair program materials and equipment including water testing kits, GPS units, etc.• Coordinate with staff to market and book onsite programs, and invoice attendees for program fees.• Develop new programming for the public to be delivered at parks throughout the Credit River watershed.• Create and deliver programming for external partners, such as the Peel Children’s Water Festival.• Write CVC’s outdoor education newsletter, The Field Tripper, to be sent out to educational professionals.
