Marissa has had a career spanning across a variety of industries from finance, engineering, charity to investment. With every change in role and industry, she has not only identified and used her transferrable skills to meet the challenges and targets of the new organisation, she has also taken every opportunity to gain new insights, learning, knowledge and skills to develop herself.The foundation of her skill set lies in organisation and creating order out of chaos. Marissa has a focussed approach to process and procedure and setting up effective and efficient systems to manage herself, others and projects. Her volunteer management experience has strengthen her skills around programme management, training, stakeholder management, community building, marketing and comms, website design, event planning and delivery. Most recently, she gained a wealth of experience configuring and managing an online community platform, and gaining daily understanding of the tools and resources required to grow and nurture digital communities.
