I am a senior at Illinois State University pursuing a degree in Sociology. I am taking additional courses to receive a certificate in Human Resources Management. Upon receiving my degree, I plan on gaining a career in Human Resources. Outside of the classroom, I am involved in my sorority, Delta Delta Delta. I serve as the chairman of sisterhood events. I plan events for our sorority to do as a whole and have quality bonding time. Also within my sorority, I am a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee. We reflect on how we can make our organization a more diverse and welcoming environment. I am also involved in Best Buddies, where I spend time with members of my community who have disabilities.These experiences, along with my work experiences have all given me numerous professional skills I will take with me into my career. My goal is to find a job or internship where I can apply these skills.
