Friendly smiles and a warm greeting should be expected the moment you set foot in the door. As a supervisor, I had many responsibilities on and off the floor. Ensure all baristas receive their designated breaks at appropriate times, based on the day's schedule. Deploy baristas on the floor based on their skill levels, and where they need more practice when applicable. Coach baristas if they are not following proper procedure while making beverages, cleaning, or otherwise. Take steps to correct any situation in which a customer is unhappy. Operate as cash controller for the duration of each shift.
