Joined as a member of an inaugural Board for the newly formed Company. I was the executive responsible for all aspects of financial management and financial operations of the Bank and the Company, including the Corporate Secretary function, investor relations and administration. During my tenure we took over the operations of a public company and became a regulated schedule 1 bank in Canada. We successfully sold the Company in October of 2019.

In this role I led the project to successfully implement IFRS for the Company in 2011, including accounting and capital analysis and the development of financial statements and disclosures under IFRS. We were the first publicly traded regulated deposit taking institution in Canada to release under IFRS. I was also responsible for all public and regulatory reporting, including quarterly financial statements, MD&A, investor summaries, annual information forms and information circulars, and all OSFI reporting. Early on I realized the reporting process needed process and control improvements. I then successfully initiated and led a project to covert the reporting process into FSR, a more controlled reporting solution. Additionally, I worked as a finance SME on the Company's SAP implementation.
