So I guess you could say It's in my blood!At work, he first taught me to use a multimeter and magnifying inspection scope to troubleshoot PCBA’s. I spent months searching for mistakes. Nobody has time for this, especially not an engineer who is trying to get their product to market. This was a very good lesson, everything I have done since, revolves around eliminating mistakes.Controlling these manufacturing defects can be difficult considering it usually involves two different vendors. But being both a PCB fabricator AND a CMS we tweaked our bare boards: added fudicals, created panels, included rails and mouse bites, used higher Tg materials, added copper thieving, and became very efficient in our CMS assembly processes. Together, with my family, we grew our EMS business over 40 fold before selling it in 2009. We continue to own and operate our PCB business and now advise our customers on their bare board designs, so they too can assemble more, in a shorter time with fewer mistakes.I started PCG&G in 2007. My father helped me set the company up and shortly after retired.
