Marissa founded Silicon Beach Talent in 2015, an executive search firm focused on disruptive companies creating the future. SBT is one of the few firms focused on working with cutting edge technology companies developing the hardware and software changing the world. SBT focuses on leadership search in the areas of Engineering, Product and Operations and has been part of growing over 40 companies early stage to exit.Prior to founding Silicon Beach Talent, Marissa was in house leading Technical Talent and M&A at Tesla Motors, focused on strategically growing Tesla operations both domestically and internationally. She started at the ground floor of Tesla and was a key talent player in scaling the company to over 15k employees, growing operations in the US, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, Japan and building out Tesla’s three first products and factory locations. Before joining Tesla, Marissa was a headhunter with Aerotek, specializing in Science, Engineering and DoD. Marissa is on the board of advisors of several companies and is a key business strategist for high growth startups.
