I am a GMAT, LSAT, SAT, GRE, and EA tutor with over 20 years of teaching experience, including at the university level. Over the last 15 years, I’ve turned my focus to standardized tests. Through tutoring, I have the chance to “dig” into my students’ brains, so to speak, to figure out the individualized paths that will work best. And that path is dynamic, changing as the student changes. So, whether you’re just starting out in your studies or need to BREAK THROUGH a score that has PLATEAUED, I can help. Many clients come to me after months and months of studying. They have taken courses, worked with other tutors .. but they are stuck. So I get to work figuring out how to turn things around. Perhaps they need to better understand the logic underlying the questions, perhaps they need to fill in gaps that they didn’t know existed, perhaps they need a new strategy for timing… whatever the issues, my job is to find them and help fix them. I also consider it my job to help students do so efficiently. Studying day and night is not the solution when you’ve already been studying day and night. And when it comes to standardized tests, it really never is the solution. A deep understanding, often glossed over by big companies, is key to navigating the kinds of problems that take twists and turns, that don’t look exactly like the ones you’ve practiced. I love to work with all students, but I also have niche expertise helping students who need the highest of scores. For example, some GMAT tutors boast helping students gain scores of 700+. I regularly help clients achieve 740+. I understand what needs to be tweaked to get those extra points, the points right at the top that seem so elusive. I have a wide range of experience, working with busy students and professionals located all around the world. Whatever the time difference, however busy the lifestyle, I’ll make it work!
