Marissa discovered her love for community service at a young age which has carried over into her professional and personal life. Beginning her career in the credit union movement, she was drawn to the positive local community/member impact and was able to share her passion of community advocacy and drive to help people. After all, credit unions are based on the foundation of people helping people. As a community advocate, since beginning her career in 2015, Marissa has held positions on the Fort Atkinson Club Board of Directors, Marketing Committee for the Humane Society of Jefferson County, Project LEAD of the Fort Atkinson Chamber of Commerce, Marketing Committee for the Hoard Historical Museum, Vice-Chair of the United Way of Jefferson and North Walworth Counties, Fort Atkinson Chamber of Commerce Ambassador team, and in her 'free time' Marissa also coached the Fort Atkinson High School Cheer and Dance team for 4 years. Currently she holds active positions on the Board of Directors for BASE (Badgerland After School Enrichment) and part of the Board of Directors for the Fort Atkinson Kiwanis Club. Marissa holds a B.B.A. degree in Marketing and a minor in Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
