Senior Optimization Engineer
Provide operational support to other sections within Drilling & Evaluation as well as to the customer, i.e. evaluation and supporting the service INTEQ delivers to the customer. This operational support includes, among other factors, analysis of recommended BHAs (with e.g. BHASys Pro software), planning of field specific BHA, technical assistance with special applications and specialized failure finding (Challenge Response Team – CRT). Headed the last CRT for Maersk Oil & Gas which received positive feedback from both the customer and also from our own organization. Have been a part of the Troll Performance Group (TPG) since October 2002, which follows the operations on the Troll field. The objective of this group is to optimize the drilling performance through e.g. analysis of offset data, total BHA design and daily follow-up of the ongoing operations. This has led to enhanced performance on the Troll field since the group was established. This checklist has been further developed throughout the years and in the latest months it has become part of a more advanced handover system (BEST) which currently is being tested in Norway.
