Responsibilities: o Shareholder, Exco, Audit & Board committee reporting.o Internal management reporting.o Preparation and reporting forecasts and budgets.o Responsible for the company’s reinsurance accounting, payments and implementation of new reinsurance treaties into the accounting system.o Coordination and reviewing of annual financial statements.o Coordinating the annual audit process.o Group consolidation of multi-insurance licenses (short and long-term)o Treasury reporting and forecasting.o Responsible for the group consolidation.o Coordination and implementation of finance projects.o Capital and liquidity reporting.o Company tax calculations and submissions.o Budget and forecasting.o Finance lead on the IFRS 17 project.o Responsible for the group’s accounting and reporting systems.

Responsibilities:• Submission of Monthly reporting to Sanlam Group office• Preparation of monthly management reports which includes analysis of year to date results versus budgets and forecasts.• Preparation of annual budgets• Completion of the monthly vat return and processing of the Vat payments.• Reviewing of the Quarterly Statutory reports to Asisa, FSB and SARB.• Coordinating and reviewing of Annual financial statement & Long Term Insurance returns process and submissions.• Solvency Assessment and Management reporting.• Risk reporting for the company.• Treating Customer Fairly reporting• Coordinating the annual and half yearly audit process• Appointed as a trustee on a number of Retirement Annuity and Pension funds.• Appointed as a director on a number of small subsidiary companies.• Preparation of monthly Exco reports.• Preparation of quarterly Audit Committee and Board reports.
