With over 20 years of experience in public and nonprofit management, I am passionate about advancing research, education, and service in this field. As the former Director of the Center for Public and Nonprofit Management (CPNM) at the University of Central Florida (UCF), I oversaw the strategic direction, operations, and partnerships of the center, which aims to enhance the performance and effectiveness of public and nonprofit organizations and civic engagement. I also teach courses on public administration, policy analysis, and program evaluation as a Lecturer at UCF, where I share my knowledge and insights with students and faculty. In addition, I am the Co-Founder of Covian Consulting, a firm that provides evaluation and consulting services to public and nonprofit organizations, focusing on community development, fundraising, and workshop facilitation. I have extensive experience in conducting process and outcome evaluations, developing evaluation tools, and performing statistical and content analysis using quantitative and qualitative methods. I am also fluent in Spanish, which enables me to communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders and communities. My core competencies include leadership, strategic planning, project management, research design, data analysis, and communication. I am motivated by the mission of improving the quality of life and social justice for the public and nonprofit sectors, and I seek to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in this field.
