Welcome, to the world through my lens! My goal with my LinkedIn page is to help amplify community voices. I have a passion helping cases involved with some type of system whether foster care, pre-trial and probation services. I am a first generation, Mexican-American, Female, Survivor of Violence, Multilingual (Spanish, English, French), Master-level graduate. Eight years of education in Psychology and Social Sciences. Mental Health Advocacy for 11 years with experience in case management, psychotherapy, individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, risk assessments, understanding of mandates and confidentiality. Graduated with my Master's in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy.Long term, I envision myself working for the Federal Bureau of Investigations (fbi). I hope to continue helping communities and staff alike as a victim specialist, mental health specialist, therapist or eap counselor. First hand, I witness how fbi staff can be from diverse backgrounds to accomplish a common mission to help restore justice and protect our communities.   March 2024: Passed interview from 10am-3pm which consisted of 60 questions exam, series of screening questions, written report, panel interview for both Fci Dublin and U.S. Penitentiary Atwater, California. Passed doj background check. April 2024: Official start date of 04/08/2024. Completed about four weeks of training with Human Resources, Employee Development, and shadowing. Passed a two hour exam with over 80% passing rate.August 2024: Participated in Glynco Georgia trainings and examinations with elimination process if not passed (consisting of federal education with exams, rifles, practical exercises and self-defense). Passed physical with one lap in 1:49, ladder climb in seven seconds, 75lbs dummy drag for 600ft in three minutes with a total of 20 drags, flight of stairs in three times and an obstacle course in 57 seconds. Passed federal education mid-term with 88% pass rate and final exam with 90% pass rate. Passed self-defense with 13/13 moves for 100% pass rate. Passed pre-qualification and qualification for 9mm gun, rifle, and shot guns. Role details: Support by chief psychologist(s). Duty to maintain safe, humane, and secure facility as any other personnel. Duty to protect communities within and outside of the facilities. Assisted Psychology department and Human Resources with treatment as well as timekeeping audits.
