I joined DL Sure, a well-known brokerage in Wellington. I had to learn a bit of everything as it was a family business, focusing more on selling insurance to HCV (heavy commercial vehicles) companies. I was doing underwriting on short term insurance for HCV and personal clients, submitting claims and working on different systems - Renasa’s Nimbis and Roc, Old Mutual system, Santam system, One insurance system, Vaps system, Echelon system. I was doing quotations for the marketers on the Renasa system and One system.
