It Manager
Current- Plan, direct, manage and oversee the activities and operations of the IT Department, administer the IT budget, staff and physical facilities of IT department.- Establish the IT strategy and high-level business objectives of the IT department, in order to sustain the company’s business and strategic goals.- Develop an annual business plan and operating budget for the department and monitor the implementation of these to ensure that the financial targets are met.- Direct the preparation and implementation of policies, procedures and standards relating to information and telecommunication systems.- Administrating IT infrastructure, both hardware and software, ensuring business continuity and IT security, to ensure a secure, continuous, agile, error free functioning of the systems.- Define and seek approval for the level of IT resources required to meet these goals and prioritize and schedule major IT projects.- Monitors and reviews the status of main IT projects, gives guidance and direction, coordinates staff assignment to projects.- Constantly evaluate the IT operations performance and implement improvement actions. Ensure a smooth evolution of the IT systems, to benefit of the new technologies and business developments.- Identify the need for upgrades, re-configurations or new systems and present business cases to upper management.- Worked effectively with various stakeholders (executives, department heads, end users, vendors) to define business and systems requirements for new IT systems and IT applications.- Negotiate service level agreements with external service providers and monitor service delivery to ensure the agreed targets and standards are met.- Managed IT staff, including hiring, performance review, mentoring, career development and talent management.- Lead the process of digital transformation of the company and empowering customers and business users.
