I gained a lot of knowledge in the digital field, across the whole spectrum. Back-end (PHP and mostly Node.js), front-end (Angular and other JavaScript frameworks), REST APIs, third-party integrations, hybrid mobile development (Ionic), design thinking, design sprints (from Google Ventures), UX/UI, writing better and tested code, keep projects very organized (including Git and proper, organized commits), working in teams and Agile (with Jira). I also got a sneak peak of what product development and management means, of how to handle clients and such things that later down the road helped me a lot in my entrepreneurship endeavours. We were always developing on new tech trends, with custom architectures and frameworks, which pushed me to adapt and get it done.

While at New Haircut, a team of 3 to 4 in which I took part during the whole process, had the opportunity of working for the public NYSE-listed XO Group company, on-site, in Austin, at one of the biggest wedding-oriented online platforms out there. We helped them migrate the platform from Microsoft technologies to JavaScript and Node.jsThis was a very "boosting" experience. I was out of my comfort zone big time, on any level imaginable. I have learned a lot of lessons, on a social level, but more important, on a tech level.
