Responsible for the performance and development of the sales team. Ensure that both company and individual targets are metOne-to-one meeting with sales force to discuss future sales developments.Prepares action plans for individuals as well as the team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to break through new markets.Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to ensure profit margin.Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.Managing on going administrative tasks for example continuously updating our corporate data base and customer contact.Point of escalation on all Sales and Corporate related queries.Maintain customer confidence.Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing company standards; providing training; monitoring calls; surveying customers; evaluating outcomes.Compiling weekly and monthly reports in order to identify both customer care challenges and staff training needs.Implementation of a measurable customer focus plan.Liaise and build relationships with representatives and suppliersDo proposals / quotations to current and prospective customers.Expedite customer queries and complaints.Manage and control a commercial team to ensure targeted sales, growth, control of costs, resulting in profitability for the business.
