The experience impacted me in two key ways:- Fantastic learning opportunities: The module I was assigned was largely quantitative, and involved relatively advanced data analytics. This enabled me to learn and develop new data analytics skills (e.g. Alteryx tool). Moreover, working with the Partners and Principal on how to translate my findings into realistic savings for the client, I was able to gain deeper knowledge into strategic thinking and roadmapping at a corporate level.- Better understanding of what a career in consulting truly entailsI look forward to returning to BCG in the near future
