As a Regional Financial Manager at Mediclinic, one of the largest private hospital groups in South Africa, I am responsible for the financial operations and performance of 13 hospitals in the Northern Cape and Free State regions. I have been in this role for over 23 years, leveraging my MBA and BCom degrees from North-West University and my skills in managerial finance, data analysis, and healthcare.My core competencies include ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in financial reporting and auditing, providing strategic guidance and support to the hospital managers, senior executives, and regional teams, and using data-driven insights and recommendations to improve quality, profitability, and sustainability.
