Key responsibilities include:Global Sourcing & Procurement: Oversee the end-to-end procurement process for diverse commodities and spare parts, ensuring cost efficiency, timely delivery, and quality alignment with organizational standards.Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with both local and international suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing, favorable contract terms, and reliable supply chains.Strategic Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies aimed at optimizing costs and ensuring consistent quality across all sourced materials and parts.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to align purchasing decisions with operational needs and technical requirements.Contract Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations for long-term supplier agreements, driving favorable terms and mitigating risk for the business.Inventory & Budget Management: Monitor inventory levels, manage budgets, and ensure the procurement process aligns with production schedules and financial targets.Spare Parts Procurement (Morocco): Manage the procurement and logistics of spare parts for Fujikura Automotive Morocco, ensuring minimal downtime and operational continuity.Risk Mitigation: Proactively address supply chain disruptions, manage vendor relationships, and ensure contingency plans are in place to prevent any interruptions in the supply flow.This role requires a strong focus on cost control, supplier development, and strategic purchasing initiatives to support Fujikura's operational efficiency and growth in both Romania and Morocco.

Support the development and maintenance of effective supplier relationships to achieve company goals related to schedule, reducing material lead times, improving quality, reliable delivery performance and favourable pricing;Release purchase orders based on system (MRP) messages and on requisitions (back to back orders);Release purchase order based on project orders release process; Daily checking of open PO report to identify overdue deliveries and missing order acknowledgements; Check content of order acknowledgments and take appropriate actions to resolve materials issues (price, quantity, specification and delivery dates) and updatepromised date based on order acknowledgement in business system; Clarify logged invoices (based on logged invoice report); Set up new supplier and maintain supplier database(address, contact, etc); Ensure purchases follow EMEA trade import/export and Internal Control Questionnaire requirements; Maintain purchasing parameter integrity in the business systems;Provide global forecast to suppliers via Oracle i-Supplier Portal;Send delivery performance to suppliers and work with non-performing suppliers for improvement;Distribute new drawing revision to suppliers and liaise with them on phase in/phase out as appropriate;Work with suppliers to improve their lead-time to support EMEA sites inventory and company customer service objectives related to their Base Business and project orders; Evaluate and determine best shipment mode to optimize logistic cost; Work closely with internal customers to prioritize production schedule and backlog;Manage end-of-life planning minimizing excess and waste; Maintain necessary purchasing documents as per EMEA procedures (archiving); Strive for continuous improvement and pro-active in all areas;Taking ownership over critical issues in MEA region when working with indirect partners;Providing training for new joiners;

Working through Procurement softwares like SAP Ariba and Coupa, testing every role with specific actions and test to make sure the application works correctly in customer’s instances on each Release Management period of the year. Between Releases periods I’m assigner either in Supplier Enablement Tasks where I have to get the best approach for client’s suppliers in order to connect them to the procurement tool.When I’m not assigned to Supplier Enablement task I have to do service desk services for our clients with specific issues about the procurement system(most of them coming from wrong Purchase Orders or Invoices that needs to be reviewed, corrected or renewed but also system issues or queries that needs to be escalated to upper teams).
