 Request For Quote (RFQ) Preparation: Analyze RFQs, drawings, part list and specifications in order to determine material, machining andprocessing requirements. Coordinate with suppliers for material and processing quotes. Determine possible issues and unachievable requirements. Collaborate with customers to resolve issuesand aid in drawing/design changes. Coordinate with Business Development to assist in quote development and ensure on time delivery ofproposals. Setup and manage contract reviews with Production, Programming, Quality and Project Managementteam members. Determine the optimal production method, manufacturing and assembly plans includingoutsourced special processes. Provide assistance in tooling development and fixture design. Research and implement new products and technologies in order to improve manufacturing methods andprocesses. Develop shop floor operations and processes. Establish process routings, create travelers and developoperation instructions. Follow-up on projects to ensure on time delivery and customer satisfaction. Coordinate and resolve technical questions and issues by assisting Programming, Production and  Prepare Manufacturing process plans (MPS and Process Flow Diagrams) for part manufacturing andgather supplier techniques/processing matrices in reference to part manufacturing. Obtain customerapprovals if and when required. Coordinate processes with service vendors and assist with development of new vendors and processeswhen required. Follow up and resolve issues with regards to supplier processing techniques. Maintain specification and supplier approvals. Complete all tasks and maintain documents according to LHM’s Quality Management System. Act as the liaison between LHM, the customer and suppliers for assigned projects (regarding technicalinformation, technique approvals, etc). Assist in order to gain/maintain industry and customer approvals/certifications by participating in audits.

3D modelling and drafting using CATIA V5, Master Cam and AutoCAD. Proficient with processing operations: heat treatment of aluminum alloys, aircraft steels, FPI, cadmium plating, IVD, primer and top coat application. Participate with MRB department in the implementation of corrective actions to resolve fit, form or functional issues on A/C components and analyze the technical repercussions related to non-completion of work. Providing technical leadership to technicians and internal departments. Participating in day to day operation meetings and estimating process. Define and describe the work instructions from engineering drawings. Modify work instructions when required by the production. Assess production costs and analyze production time. Ensure technical assistance for production and follow up of technical responses. Ensure the role of technical interface between engineering and production teams. Keep track and ensure follow up of non-conformities. Perform in writing engineering change requests if necessary. Monitor dashboard in order to follow work progress.
