Marius Toader is the creative director and co-owner of Media Factory, the first and the only Romanian company that created and exported tv formats in more than 20 countries from 5 continents. Media Factory has produced more than 25 tv programs, all of them based on formats that were originally created by Marius Toader. The format "Mom Made Me a Star"​ - launched in 2012 on Prima TV - is making history. CBBC has commissioned and aired 6 seasons of this kids music talent contest, marking the first time that a show from a Eastern European country has been remade in the UK. The format is also optioned for USA and Canada by Scooter Braun, the agent of Justin Bieber. The format was sold also in Russia, Ukraine and Philippines. The format "Miss Country Girl"​ - launched in 2010 on Prima TV - has been sold in more than 20 countries and already produced in China, Thailand and Ukraine. The format has been sold in France (Endemol France), USA (Warner Horizon), Canada, Australia, Russia. Viasat Broadcasting has bagged local production rights covering 11 territories - Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovenia, Czech Republic and Ghana. In 2013 Media Factory launched on Prima TV "One Good Turn"​ and the format of the show was sold in USA. In 2011 the format "Dracula Tour Challenge"​ has been selected for the MIPFormats Fresh Talent Pitch - Cannes, one of only six formats that were selected.In 2010 “Rush Hour Challenge” was selected at MIP Formats Fresh Talent Pitch Special Selection. Other Media Factory's formats are internationally distributed by Small World IFT: Believe in Santa!, Cast off the Train, A Perfect Day, I'm a Country Boy. Marius Toader is the general producer and director of Masterchef Romania (2014, 2015, 2017), a co-production of Media Factory with Pro TV, the most important tv station in Romania. In 2021 Marius Toader was the show runner of Dragon’s Den Romania (Imperiul Leilor) for Pro TV and content consultant for an HBO Romania reality show, “One True Singer”. Marius Toader and Adrian Robe are the creators of an educational project, “Education Up High” that is using drones for live lessons for more than 3000 schools in Romania and Moldova.
