I grew up multilingual in Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany and Liechtenstein, in the hustle and bustle of hotels and restaurants.I have been shaped by my international background, my diverse education, my family and friends and their businesses, and by counterculture. Consequently, the name of my marketing and employer branding agency 1520 is derived from ‘1520 Sedgwick Avenue’, the address of an apartment building in the Bronx, New York City, that is known as the birthplace of Hip Hop. I am a critical thinker with intercultural competence and the ability to work well independently. In addition, I am flexible, open-minded, efficient and creative. Via 1520, I’m, among other things, the Head of Marketing & Communications at the Café Theater Festival, an established Dutch performing arts festival. I also write a monthly column for Foodservice Consultant. I'm currently still available for 4-8 hours a week as well as for project based work via 1520.
