I spearheaded the launch and development of five international editions—US, Canada, Australia, Nigeria, and Romania—successfully extending our reach beyond the UK and catering to a diverse, global audience.In my role, I manage content across multiple sections, ensuring high-quality news content and adherence to editorial standards and our style guide. I actively collaborate with other teams to enhance workflow efficiency and information accessibility. At Descopera.ro, my primary accomplishment was driving record-breaking traffic and audience growth by enhancing both the quality and volume of content on our website. In this capacity, I carried out the following key responsibilities:- Supervised and coordinated a team of full-time writers and freelancers, ensuring high-quality content production- Authored, edited, and commissioned long-form articles and news items for Descopera.ro, aligning with the brand's voice and objectives- Designed, edited, and distributed daily and weekly newsletters to keep subscribers informed and engaged- Managed Descopera.ro's social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter), leveraging them to substantially boost unique website visitors- Adapted Descopera's content for cross-promotion on other Mediafax group platforms, collaborating with product managers to drive increased traffic to our site- Conceived and executed tailored content packages for advertising partnerships (e.g., a series of articles exploring gold in medicine, religion, and culture for a collaboration with Gabriel Resources, a gold mining company)- Analysed website performance using Google Analytics and in-house analytics tools to uncover actionable insights for further traffic growthBy assuming these diverse responsibilities, I successfully contributed to Descopera.ro's online presence and helped the brand reach new heights.

During my tenure at one of Romania's most read tablod newspapers, I successfully led a talented team of writers to achieve significant growth in reader engagement.Under my leadership as Deputy Editor-in-Chief, the number of monthly unique visitors to click.ro increased by 19.5% compared to July 2010 (1,220,582 in July to 1,458,535 in December, setting a new record). Additionally, monthly page views experienced a 13.93% growth (26,976,310 in July to 30,735,316 in December, with an all-time high in November at 33,560,365).In my role, I managed the writer team, ensuring we were consistently the first to break news and publish content that drove daily conversations. I actively monitored real-time trends to identify which content generated the most interest among our readers and further boosted traffic through three daily newsletters and our Facebook and Twitter pages.Additionally, I oversaw the online adaptation of the next-day newspaper edition, coordinating with the newspaper uploader and the front-page designer to emphasise our most significant content.

I played a key role in the organic growth of the online section of GSP.ro, a Romanian sports newspaper, from a part-time effort to a fully-fledged newsroom.I've started work as a part-time member of the team, uploading the newspaper online, and slowly rose through the ranks, being hired as a full-time online writer. Over the years I've worked hard, meeting tight deadlines and being the first to publish the most important news of the day, performing under the most stressful situations.I wrote articles, interviewed football stars, handled online chats with football stars (they were invited to chat with our readers), edited football videos in real time (in order for our readers to see the goals as soon as possible), wrote live commentary of football games, sent live SMS with football updates (in partnership with a Romanian telecoms operator), commissioned and edited articles, supervised the front page of the website and selected the leading stories on our website. Since 2008 I became content editor, role in which I managed the team of 14 writers and editors. Our strong efforts paid off and we became the the most visited sports website in Romania, despite being closely challenged by two other strong brands.We managed to drive the agenda, supplying the main topics of debate for TV shows and obtaining exclusive interviews and news that made GSP.ro a household name with football and sport fans in Romania.
