I am a structural engineer designing precast residential, industrial and commercial buildings for Norway. I have 10+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer and I have been lucky enough to have roles starting from on-site, to design and even management driven by the satisfaction of turning client desires into real-life touchable objects.Being passionate about technology I have always tried to use it to make things easier and faster in my profession and even beyond. It all started by making Excel spreadsheets to streamline the design workflow while working as a freelancer in my free time. Currently I am using the Django/Python framework as a basis for a platform to help with managing diabetes. As a self-taught enthusiast and in need of constant improvement I love breaking things down to its core to understand how/why they work and I always enjoy sharing new-found knowledge. As a long-term goal, I would love the opportunity to be in the position to teach.
