Als adviseur stedelijke economie en gebiedsontwikkeling lever ik een bijdrage aan de ontwikkeling van steden en centra met alle uitdagingen van deze tijd. Stad & Co is gespecialiseerd in publiek-private samenwerking en staat voor collectief eigenaarschap, gemeenschapszin en bewuste groei. Samen met ondernemers, opdrachtgevers en andere partners geven we hier invulling aan.

In de stadsdeelcommissie vertegenwoordigde ik de bewoners, het bedrijfsleven en de verschillende instellingen in Amsterdam-Zuid. De stadsdeelcommissie adviseert het dagelijks bestuur en faciliteert inspraak.De Stadsdeelcommissie is an advisory commission in which democratically chosen members represent the residents, corporations and institutions of the area they live in.

Ambassador, organization and volunteer coordination in the area in Amsterdam I live in. I help the political party with organizing events and mobilising volunteers to help contribute to the campaign.

Het GroenLinks Ondernemersnetwerk brengt politici en ondernemers samen die duurzaamheid en sociaal ondernemen een warm hart toedragen. Dit doen we voornamelijk in de vorm van het ondernemerscafé. We spreken er met raadsleden, bestuurders en ondernemers over de kansen en uitdagingen die komen kijken bij de plannen van de huidige coalitie. Ook in corona tijd brengen we ondernemers, politici en andere Amsterdammers samen. Kijk bijvoorbeeld hier terug hoe we ondernemend de crisis uit gaan komen met de culturele sector, waarbij ik de eervolle taak heb om de mensen thuis te betrekken. Eerder ging he bijvoorbeeld over de uitdagingen bij het autoluw maken van de binnenstad. We hadden interessante pitches van duurzame ondernemers met elektrische voertuigen in verschillende vormen, city hubs, suggesties voor de eeuwenoude idee van levering via de grachten, onbekende potjes subsidie voor elektrische transportwagens en het probleem van de vele stilstaande auto's die veel van de schaarse ruimte innemen in de stad. Project lead in marketing, communications and (programming) events at Hello Zuidas, an independent network & urban development foundation. Secondary responsibilities included chairing the recurring networking events for the hospitality industry, retail and housing branches member to Hello Zuidas. The foundation operates in, and works for the largest corporate district in the Netherlands, Zuidas, with focus on mobility, environmental planning, sustainability and livelihood. Zuidas had turned into a city district focused not only on working, but on living and leisure as well. Real estate developments and big logistical projects like Zuidasdok (renewing Station Zuid and the highway A10) were expected to put strain on the working and living environment in Zuidas. Together with relevant stakeholders - members of our foundation - I worked to maintain the top quality features and facilities home to Zuidas during this ‘under construction’ phase.#Projectmanagement #Networkbuilding #Inititatives

I started and managed Club Smederij, one of the venues at the Spoorzone. Various activities and events (corporate, cultural and recreational) take place in and around the venue. My main responsibilities were laying out strategy and coordinating the team in reaching our objectives. Daily tasks included;· Concept development· Developing new social & cultural initiatives· Project management· Network building· Executing the practical aspects associated with events· Developing from startup to scale up By means of a customer focus and emphasis on cooperation, my aim has been to add value to the city by creating an inspiring place while maintaining the authentic vibe that comes with the area the venue is located in. Club Smederij is part of Montopinto, an organisation that develops initiatives in the social and cultural sector. My job consisted mostly of assisting the project manager and other staff members in organizing a conference meeting on the African Creative Economy. It required organizational skills, social (communication) skills and writing skills among others.
