Leading the development of AI-powered solutions for Tendero, a public procurement platform designed for the EU markets.

I conducted in-depth research on the AML legislation of Moldova, Romania and the Netherlands. I analyzed various money laundering typologies, with a particular focus on money laundering through virtual assets. Additionally, I examined the compliance level of EU member states with the FATF standards regarding VASPs and explored key EU legislative frameworks, including AMLD6 and MiCAR.I also had the opportunity to work hands-on with the novel AML/CTF software solution implemented at the NBM, analyzing the machine learning algorithms used to detect suspicious activity.

As the Chief Coding Officer of the Functional Polymers and Sensors group within the Materials Science and Engineering Department, I was responsible for developing software solutions that facilitate the processing and visualization of scientific data.
