I filled the role of Solution Architect for a ITSM platform called Cherwell Software.The standard deployment of Cherwell includes an Out of the Box ITSM service desk, but my focus was more on business process automation with the use of this tool. Analysis client needs and documenting how the Cura Software GRC suite can be implemented to assist in accurate and effective risk management.The analysis includes solution scoping sessions to determine what the client requirements are and the creation of specification documents which is used to customize the software. This includes the software interface as well as reporting.I am also responsible for scoping ad hoc requests for clients and assigning the needed tasks to consultants to complete.I am also responsible for quality assurance in all the solutions and / or work orders where I am involved in the scoping process.I am also still actively doing implementation and customization as a Professional Services Consultant.
