MORE ON THE SCOPE OF ACTIVITIES IN A SEPARATE NOTEI. Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Within this form of activity, the company will operate mainly in the area of detailed verification (check) of already prepared environmental documentation (but also the technical one prepared for the purpose of EIA), technical support in the preparation of tender documentation, including the methodology of selected environmental surveys, as well as supervision of selected elements of environmental surveys (primarily ecological). I.A Seminars on practical aspects of environmental assessmentsThe title of the module clearly indicates the subject matter of the training courses, the subject of which will not be theoretical but only practical aspects of environmental assessment. I.B Training in the study of selected elements of the natural environmentIn this case we offer both: a theoretical part, where the best methods of conducting surveys for EIA, e.g. of selected animal groups or species, will be discussed, and a practical part, where survey methods will also be demonstrated in the field during the vegetation season.II. Digitisation of private collections and search for unique documentsFor this module, we invite you to contact us for new services concerning the broadly understood 'digitisation' of private collections and the search for hard-to-find, unique documents published up to 1945, primarily (but not exclusively) in the fields of: herbal medicine, exlibrises and Japan. III. Activities of a publicist charactersThis form of activity is not new, as publications signed with my name are, for example available on LinkedIn. However, as part of this module, I would like to develop a series of columns on the border between science and futurism called HiveDiary, where I will be inviting special guests. What will be innovative, will be the form, which will not be limited to publications, but there will certainly also be short video broadcasts.

During my work at ERM, I participated in the drafting of the EIA report for the offshore wind farm project in the Baltic Sea. For a short time I also coordinated the work on this project as PM.

I was responsible for coordinating the final stage of the EIA report for the first nuclear power plant in Poland.

I was employed on a temporary contract as an environmental impact assessment advisor at PGE EJ1 (Chief EIA Expert). In addition, I advise on environmental documents (primarily EIA), in particular in terms of their technical (content-related) and linguistic verification (e.g. translations from English of scientific studies, but also the correctness of environmental documents developed in Polish).

I was responsible for coordinating the EIA report for the first nuclear power plant in Poland.

I was responsible for coordinating the scope of all ecological (terrestrial) surveys, verification and approval of the ecology final reports, as well as coordinating the EIA report for the first nuclear power plant in Poland. In the case of the aforementioned EIA report, I was also responsible for reviewing many of the env. chapters, as well as writing some of them. This kind of experience gives me a unique position on the market, especially that the scope of designed and conducted surveys has been identified by the company's technical advisor (Wood/Jacobs) as “at least meeting all international criteria”.

At this stage of environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the nuclear power plant in Poland I was responsible for the correct conduct all terrestrial ecological surveys.

Author of the EIA report for one of the largest solar farm projects in Poland and Europe (at the time) (target area of approx. 1000 ha of solar panels) – report has been approved by the Client and the Env. Protection Authority (obtained environmental permit). Active ecological expert in Great Britain (from 2014 to 2016 bat surveys and Phase 1 Habitat Surveys). Cooperation with reputable law firms and signed framework agreement with one of the four largest accounting & auditing firms in the United States (KPMG).

As the Project Manager won (due to the high-quality of the bid) a £1.75M project to develop Master Plans for the Vistula and Odra rivers in Poland. "This win is hugely significant as the central European consultancy market has been severely depressed due to procurement based on lowest price, which has compromised for a considerable period the quality of project delivery. This win is one of the first instances where procurement regulations have been revised. (...)". Other selected projects:- Modernization of the polish railway no 8, the distance from Warsaw Okecie to Radom – reconstruction of 65 km section of a railway linking Warsaw Okecie Railway Station and Radom Railway Station. The Environmental Impact Assessment (Environmental Statement) report and analysis and supervision of all ecological surveys (i.e. bird surveys, fish research, bat and bird surveys) as well trees surveys and noise modelling.- Application for the Location Permit for Offshore Wind Turbines – Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the construction concept of building offshore wind farm on the Baltic Sea.- Due Diligence for Onshore Wind Turbines in Poland.

Key plant species mitigation; - Department for Transport - Highways Agency - Old A12 Chelmer in Chelmsford, Essex - British Standard (BS) 5837:2005 Trees in Relation to Construction surveys and report, breeding birds surveys, reptile and amphibians surveys; - KIER RAIL: Upper Rainham Road and Ardleigh South Embankment - trees surveys and report.During my AECOM's experience I have also participated (handling, nest boxes checking, marking) in an ecological surveys in Poland to determine the effect of the presence of the edible dormouse on the arboreal activity of the yellow-necked mouse and the bank vole. The research was conducted in August 2009 (more than 90 working hours) in Poland. In the research, a hypothesis was proposed that the presence of the edible dormouse would result in fewer yellow-necked mice and bank voles entering traps.
