As Senior Associate Principal, Mariusz has carved out a role for himself that pushes the boundaries of our design thinking. He has extensive experience on a wide range of diverse projects that merges architecture with urban scale thinking and helps KSP advance its intentionally diverse portfolio. Mariusz's passion for architecture started in his home country of Poland and grew after he moved to Chicago and attended the Illinois Institute of Technology. During his time there, Mariusz received the prestigious Benn-Johnck Award from the American Institute of Architects (AIA). He went on to pursue his Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University Graduate School of Design (GSD), where he graduated with Distinction for his academic excellence. Throughout his career, Mariusz has led creative media teams, integrated cutting-edge technology into design, and explored the possibilities of virtual reality, UAV operations, and digital fabrication tools. Currently, he heads the KSP Futures Group, working to imagine the long-term future for the practice and expanding our definition of architecture. Mariusz is committed to driving the industry forward with innovative thinking, a collaborative approach, and a passion for sustainability. He strives to create spaces that not only look beautiful but also function flawlessly and enhance the lives of those who experience them.
