I am an enthusiastic Bioinformatician with a strong foundation in bioinformatics, genomics, and computational biology, coupled with hands-on experience gained through two successful Master’s projects. My academic journey, culminating in an MSc in Bioinformatics from the University of Leicester (Merit), has equipped me with proficiency in a variety of bioinformatics tools and programming languages, including Python, R, and Linux.Throughout my research projects, I have developed and implemented original and alternative pipelines for analyzing single-cell RNA sequencing data, identified key gene markers, and demonstrated the reproducibility of studies. My independent research on Neuroligins in Leptothorax acervorum has deepened my understanding of genomics, particularly in relation to social behavior, and sharpened my skills in data analysis and visualization.With a strong background in NGS data analysis, data visualization, and database management, I am committed to contributing to the field of bioinformatics. My experience with tools like VCFtools/BCFtools, cn.mops, and GitHub, along with my problem-solving abilities and collaborative mindset, positions me well for roles in research and development.I am eager to apply my skills to new challenges, whether through a professional role or collaborative projects, and am always open to connecting with others in the bioinformatics and computational biology communities.
