Full Professor and Researcher at the Reference Center for Training and Distance Education of the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo, Brazil. She is a teacher in educational technologies, active methodologies, and learning assessment. She has experience in initial and continuing teacher training, improvement, specialization, master and doctoral courses, in classroom and distance modalities. She did a post-doctoral internship at the University of HAMK, Finland (2019). She has a Ph.D. in Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil (2018), a Ph.D. in Education at the Universidad del Norte, Paraguay (2014), and a Master in Informatics at the Federal University of Espírito Santo, Brazil (2000). She took the International Professional Teacher Education course at the University of Hamk, Finland (2022). She holds a degree in Petroleum Engineering (2006) and Business Administration (1999) from the University of Vila Velha, Brazil. She participated in the educational innovation programs arising from a partnership between the Brazilian and Finnish governments, VET Teachers for the Future (2016) and FiTT-Finnish Teacher Trainer Diploma (2017), at the universities of Hamk and Tamk, Finland. In the research area, she works as a productivity grantee and coordinator of the research group on Innovation and Creativity in Education at Ifes. She is a permanent professor in the Professional Master and Doctoral programs in Science and Mathematics Teaching and the Professional Master in Vocational and Technological Education.
