About Marja Honkaniemi

As a co-founder of esgResilience, a SaaS solution for SMEs and Financial Institutions to assess ESG factors, I help small and mid-size businesses and their stakeholders to assess and manage ESG related risks and opportunities. I have over 20 years of experience in account management and B2B business development working with clients across various sectors and regions. I have a passion for customer relationship management and I enjoy helping my clients to meet their own development goals.In addition, I am a partner at Honkacapital, a family firm focusing on training, consultation, and new business development linked to sustainability, ESG, and climate change. In May 2023, I graduated as a vocational teacher (AmO) and I have enjoyed teaching courses on e.g. sustainable business at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. Datex-Ohmeda was the largest division of Instrumentarium Corporation, employing app. 4500 people and turnover being app. € 700 million in 2002. This division was a global leader in anaesthesia and patient monitoring systems. D-O had manufacturing sites in US, Finland and Sweden and sales offices worldwide, thus the work environment was very international. Instrumentarium was acquired by GE in 2003 and D-O was merged with GE Healthcare.
