Program ManagerInstrumentarium, Datex-Ohmeda Oct 1999 - Sep 2002I was in charge of leading a global cross functional team with representatives from across business areas, subsidiaries and distributors. The development was based on my extensive international market research and feasibility study. The goal of the programme team was to develop an end-to-end after sales service business model and supporting e-commerce platform for the after sales services business needs. In addition, I was a member of an international project group set up to develop a global customer feedback system with the ability to be configurable for domestic needs; e.g. US regulatory requirements. Datex-Ohmeda was the largest division of Instrumentarium Corporation, employing app. 4500 people and turnover being app. € 700 million in 2002. This division was a global leader in anaesthesia and patient monitoring systems. D-O had manufacturing sites in US, Finland and Sweden and sales offices worldwide, thus the work environment was very international. Instrumentarium was acquired by GE in 2003 and D-O was merged with GE Healthcare.
