My passion from China and Asia dates back to 25 years when I first started studying Mandarin. After Taiwan in 2005, I settled in Shanghai in 2006. This is where I developed an in-depth and extensive knowledge of both operational sourcing and strategic purchasing whilst working with Saint-Gobain Asia Sourcing Office. I then founded Mind Up Consulting in 2015.I now bring together my 18+ year-experience in procurement, manufacturing and sustainability, all my passion, my guts and my knowledge of the local context to tackle resilience on the supply chain and sustainable purchasing performance. I work with brands and SMEs to (re)design and qualify sustainable purchasing, sourcing, traceability and risk management strategies and solutions. I emphasise on increasing brands’ awareness on their complex field reality to constructively improve purchasing practices and deploy solutions which add value to the whole chain. Downstream, I work on the field to carry out solutions to assess, support and empower manufacturers and raw material producers to increase resilience and strengthen collaboration. I emphasise on people and in particular workers, giving them a voice while looking at compliance as a tool, not an end. I strongly believe that above issues must be addressed with a passionate, caring, pragmatic, people-oriented and solution-driven approach. My partners range from small-sized factories and SMEs to larger retailers in various industries (textile, decoration, metal industry, printing, construction,...) in China, India, South-East Asia, North Africa and Europe.Are you ready to make a difference?
