My duties included for example writing official certificates in several languages, document management and archiving and diverse customer service via email, phone and in person.

My responsibilities included assisting with financial management and reporting, daily communication with the company’s stakeholders, travel, meeting and event arrangements for staff and visitors, document handling, office supply and catering orders, handling the mail and other shipments, switchboard and other general office administration. The company language was English.

At Suomalainen Kirjakauppa I worked as a department head and deputy store manager for more than three years. My responsibilities included operational planning, creating sales reports and forecasts, budgeting, merchandise management, product orders, store layout and display planning, staff orientation and trainings, handling invoices and documents and daily communication and cooperation with stakeholders. Working as a Department Manager at Suomalainen Kirjakauppa provided me with a large skill set for my future challenges.

In addition to sales and customer service my other tasks included accounting and monthly reports to management, staff time card tracking and reporting, documenting and filing.
