As HR BP at the Consumer divison of Johnson & Johnson in the Netherlands I had an advisory role to (line)management (member of management board), workscouncils and individuals. Have done a number reorganisations (downsizing as well as integrating new business) including social plans. Lot of experience in labour law issues. Involved in different roles in the implementation of HR outsourcing/SAP HR, which required harmonisation with other J&J divisions on benefits, policies, procedures and processes. Responsible for all other HR-topics such as recruiting, talent development, management development, change management, compensation & benefits.

GABA was distributor in the retail (drugstore/supermarkets) for the personal healthcare brands of Procter and Gamble, Johnson and Johnson and its own GABA brands. Responsible for the full HR function with one direct report. Main achievements: rewrote the personnel handbook, described all HR processes and responsible for the labour legal part of the big reorganisation (incl social plan). After GABA had been taken over by Colgate Palmolive, a reorganisation took place after which we set up a new J amd J company per Jan 1, 2005 with about 1/3 of the existing employees.
