Those who lose jobs and homes often choose to live an alternative lifestyle in RVs, converted vans, trucks, station wagons, trailers, and rehabbed boats/barges. They create their own businesses and become self-sufficient. WOAH assists the undetectable homeless to find strategies for remaining anonymous while increasing survival tactics whether urban or rural, "off of the grid," or by disability. Many vehicle full-timers remain in the area in which they have been living or travel for self-employment or private purposes: fleeing ex spouses/stalkers/workplace bullies. Some use alternative housing as they become familiar with a routine or circuit (e.g., flea markets, antiques shows, business markets, and art/craft fairs) for an income and the freedom from government control in shelters/missions/HUD housing. Sadly, I have to report that the 1st self-sufficiency community I established long ago has been dismantled due to the threats/activities of my nationally-known criminal cyber stalker. He brags he found the small farming community, told a county agency to look into the property owner's taxes, right to allow others to utilize land not currently farmed, and my association with the community. The property owner panicked and told the small group to leave. They have returned to "life on the road."​ I pray he doesn't find any of the other villages....This atrocious use of the internet and active stalking to harm innocent people has led to my own direction regarding writing and crime victim advocacy. I am now part of a team of professional PIs. Mainly, I conduct legal research and investigate bullying/stalking/terrorizing activities. I have written a new book about how social media grants stalkers the right to destroy lives while removing victims' responses -- giving stalkers permission to defame and commit felonies. The federal Cyberbullying/Cyberstalking Act must be updated, passed, and enforced!

Dedicated to assisting the UNdetectable homeless who live in urban/suburban/rural areas out of clean/uncluttered vehicles and rehabbed boats. They are self-sufficient, creating their own businesses, some living in tiny eco-villages I established for growing organic foods for themselves and commerce. There is no need for any stable homeless person to be completely dependent on the government for subsistence! Many of my interviewees were "housewives"​ who experienced domestic abuse and escaped to safety but had no money of their own. I have found small RVs for them, and they have used their homemaking skills to become chefs, caterers, child care professionals, home cleaners, teacher aides, diner workers who eventually become part owners, etc. Some rural women have become self-sufficient by creating businesses related to hunting -- cleaning skins and creating designer artwork. Fisher[wo]men brine and sell to restaurants and markets. Wilderness experts find jobs at state and national parks.The tiny self-sufficiency eco-villages in the Northeast have spread to 12. Since 2013, my vicious cyber-&-physical stalker has been faking my email's IP and Header on YouTubes and blogs, altering them to the Dept. of Defense, stating it is proof I am a Domestic Terrorist and paid by Monsanto & GE to make all of his projects fail. He has an FBI file and admits to "being a prime candidate for becoming a mass gun shooter." He is being investigated for threats to commit terrorist attacks on our nuclear plants. Google allows his libel and deletion of my blogs, photos, newspaper and journal articles, and now he is removing my "60 Minutes" segment: "Lost in Bel Air" with Lesley Stahl. His life has been paid for by a Google and Facebook employee who has mentored him in how to hack into our computers and delete saved documents. He promised Google mods he would delete me from the web entirely and it is happening.

Serious discussion is needed regarding rural vs. urban health care. Rural health care is under scrutiny as Family Practice physicians cannot provide the expertise necessary which leads to incorrect diagnoses causing added diseases, hopelessness/mental deterioration, and unnecessary deaths -- especially among children, the elderly, and disabled. State Medical Boards often refuse to remove licenses or even sanction rural M.D.s when physician abuse is reported since the state must fund rural health care. The state establishes community health systems which may retain M.D.s who have already had license revocations and sanctions in other states State politicians ignore complaints, refusing any investigations. There is little published about this topic, and as rural sprawl increases, statistics and personal narratives reveal more serious illnesses and deaths occur in rural areas than urban ones from lack of expertise in specialty medicine. While rural HealthCare Centers may be established, there may be no accountability for quality care for anyone. I wrote an article for an AMA journal and was told it would not be published due to the dearth of experienced M.D.s who will reside in isolated rural areas. The AMA hides the issue instead of investigating malfeasance and following its own stated policies/ethics.

BOOKS: I am probably best known as the founder of Women Organized Against Homelessness: a nonprofit 501(c)3, with books and e-docs regarding domestic abuse and the undetectable homeless. Shadow Women: Homeless Women's Survival Stories (Sheed&Ward,1990) became a film. Organizational and Community Responses to Domestic Abuse and Homelessness (Garland, 1994) points to org and public responses. The Effects of Self and Multiple-Audience Feedback on Victim-Plaintiff Narrative Performance as Courtroom Testimony (Nos Colimus, 1995) focuses on legal analyses. I write cultural mystery novels for "pleasure,"​ under a pen name. Also, three children's mystery stories/books were hand-written/published when I was homeless in the mid '70s, sold on a card table in front of grocery stores in small coastal tourist towns in a New England state. DOCs: I have filmed at least 6 feature length documentaries: a cross-country trip (from West Coast to East Coast) searching for abandoned and dying small towns to recast for homeless people; 3 docs of interviews with the undetectable homeless in many states over 38 years; town council meetings in several states in which councils and residents disagreed, e.g., "changing the town's focus to tourism by paving over sensitive parts of a harbor for a parking lot"​; historic villages based on self-sufficiency; and ecological destruction of areas for housing developments. I have also filmed documentaries which are in UCLA Archives: the Santa Monica Public Workshops for restoring the Pier and carousel, and tiny towns I intended to buy for creating artists'​ and writers'​ communities for homeless professionals. I created and filmed museum exhibits of ethnic origins.SCREENPLAYS: I have been writing screenplays for many years, been ghostwriter for others'​ stories, and have used my own plots and characters for movies and TV series "​in season" and pilots.
