MindsEye also provides live description services for theatre, tour description for museums and festivals, and recorded description for video, photos, and graphics. Led the team of Minds Eye paid and unpaid staff in providing 132 hours of unique programming weekly and over 30 audio describe performances annually. Guided organization through split from founding organization and fiscal sponsor as of January 1, 2017. Prepared 501c3 and all state charity documentation and ensured both MindsEye and founding organization benefited throughout the split. Maintained amicable working relationship and negotiated rental agreements. Worked with both Board of Directors and Advisory Board to ensure good practices in governance of the organization. Responsible for budgeting, produced balanced budgets annually and consistently brought expenses in under planned budget. Grew reserve funds. Worked with major donors to create regular funding streams through pledges and planned gifts. Secured new grants each year, significantly growing grant funding.
